Dr. Matthew Henry completed his undergraduate studies at Florida State University, and then went on to earn his doctor of dental surgery degree from Baltimore College of Dental Surgery.
While a captain in the US Air Force, Dr. Matthew Henry was accepted into a one-year advanced general dentistry residency at Sheppard AFB, Texas, where he received his training and certification in IV conscious sedation. After serving two years as a dental officer at Robins AFB in Georgia, where he was awarded a Meritorious Service Medal for excellence in clinical dentistry, Dr. Henry entered private practice. Since that time, he has regularly attended continuing dental education courses to keep his skills current.
As part of his commitment to high dentistry standards, Dr. Henry is an active member of The American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the Atlantic Coast District Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, the Florida Dental Society of Anesthesiology, the Academy of Osseointegration, the International Team for Implantology, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Dr Henry enjoys spending time with his wife Joanna and also his two dogs Lola and Doonan. His hobbies include surfing, hiking, working out, reading, and travel.
